Kewhaven Pictures

Kewhaven Pictures was established in 2002 by producer Will Poole and director-writer David Bartlett.  Inspired by the classic films of David Lean, Powell and Pressburger and Carol Reed, Kewhaven was created to make ambitious, polished, emotional films that work on a commercial level.  Kewhaven’s first film, The Goodbye Plane (starring Edward Hardwicke), ran as one of the Best of Fest at the LA Film Festival and was shortlisted for Oscar nomination.  With three scripts by David Bartlett on the slate, it is intended that Shades of Greye will be the company’s first feature into production, principally staffed by crew and Heads of Department familiar to David and Will from previous projects, including Director of Photography Andy Jackson and First Assistant Director Matthew Lawson.
